Introduction
Wing shapes and general facies in Consul range from very Memphis-like "leafwings" to species that are Batesian mimics of Lycorea, Heliconius and various "tiger" patterned ithomiines. The hindwing tails and cryptic ventral surfaces are unmistakable identifiers.References
